Step one: the Baseline

## The Baseline: a one-time fee

Before we test anything, we establish which AI is running and what your guardrails are. It is a separate, one-time fee and is not credited against a plan. [What the Baseline covers](https://www.cimbiotic.ai/cimassure#baseline).

### Baseline Standard

Associations and non-profits with 15+ staff.

- Narrower scope, remote only

When the Baseline is done, the first test cycle runs and your first Assurance Statement follows. Testing then continues on a regular schedule. Only want one result? AI Red Teaming, below, needs no Baseline.

You pay for the testing, never for an outcome. Cimbiotic takes no commissions, referral fees, equity or revenue share from any vendor whose product it tests, no fee depends on the finding, and it can give a Red rating.
